CurrentSpot is a directory of food trucks, coffee vans, market stalls and hole-in-the-wall spots across Australia. Our mission is to find every great spot in Australia.
Mostly these four:
- Food trucks — mobile kitchens that serve meals and move between locations.
- Coffee vans — mobile vans serving coffee, often with snacks or pastries. Many park in the same place each morning.
- Market stalls — food stalls that trade at markets, festivals and events.
- Hole-in-the-wall spots — small fixed shops, usually takeaway or with only a few seats.
A few others turn up too, such as pop-ups, kiosks and kitchen takeovers.
All of Australia. Any food truck, coffee van, market stall or hole-in-the-wall spot can be listed, wherever it’s based.
Yes. Browsing spots is free.
Not to browse. Sign up for a free account to follow spots and be notified of updates.
Yes. Following saves a spot to your list so it’s easy to find again and to hear where it’s trading next.
Email hello@currentspot.co. Tell us which spot it is and what’s wrong, and we’ll fix it or take the page down.

Food trucks, coffee vans, market stalls and hole-in-the-wall spots anywhere in Australia.
Yes. Listing your spot is free.
Tell us about it and we’ll build the page — start here. We add listings ourselves at the moment, so there’s no sign-up to get through. A proper owner account, where you write and update your own page, is what we’re working on next.
CurrentSpot is one more place to be discovered, not a replacement for your socials. Your own accounts do their best work for the people already following you; we put you in front of the ones browsing for somewhere new to eat, by city and by cuisine. Your page shows them what you cook and where you trade, then sends them straight on to your Instagram and your website, so someone who found you here leaves following you there.
Yes. We add some spots from public information so people can find them, and we’ll change or remove yours on request — email hello@currentspot.co and say which spot is yours. Claiming a page and editing it yourself isn’t possible yet; until it is, we make the changes for you.
Yes. Your business and the places it trades are kept separate, so each spot gets its own page under the city it’s in, all sharing your name and logo.
No. Being listed here says nothing about your approvals, and you’re responsible for holding the registrations and council permits you need wherever you trade. The rules differ by state and by council. Some of our city pages cover the basics, but always check with the council you’ll be trading in.
Email hello@currentspot.co and tell us which spot to take down. We’ll remove the page and confirm when it’s gone.
